Bring back the shopping cart#189

I’ve cut back my Gumroad purchases quite a bit, now that purchasing multiple products spams my bank with all my purchases. I cannot fathom a sensible reason for removing such a ubiqitious quality-of-life feature from the site. Please, bring back the shopping cart.

Selling physical products without a cart function is horrible, co sthe customer has to pay shipping for every sold product

Taking customers off our website to Gumroad and then back just to add/remove items from their cart is a god-awful UI…if you’re going to do that you should at least have an inoffensive / customizable UI like Stripe, but that cannot be said for Gumroad.

Switching solutions ASAP…this is not a “nice to have” feature, you are killing our conversion rates. Bring back checkout overlay!!

Now when a user clicks to checkout from my website, they are taken to a cart page with a “Continue shopping” button that redirects to discover.gumroad.com (instead of back to my site): this is totally unacceptable, I’m not paying for ad traffic just to give it away for free to competing products on Gumroad.

This is the last straw, switching to Payhip this week.
