Please enable written reviews in addition to ratings. Reviews are much more engaging to users than simple ratings. Also, in recent updates ratings have been made less visible than before (number instead of stars), please make ratings more visible and add reviews (with possibility of reply from the author).

I second this! Completely agree. Please add written reviews through Gumroad.

Letting users rate other users’ reviews by usefulness and then presenting the reviews sorted by highest to lowest usefulness would be even better.

Yes. Requiring some explanation for their rating, makes them more accountable for the reputation they are giving to the seller. What if customers come to realise that they have a chance of being refunded in full for leaving a one star rating? Just so the seller can get rid of that smudge?

Yes written reviews have always helped me improve my products. And it also gives more credibility to the creator. What I like gumroad when compared to other platforms, is that the reviews are genuine and creators dont tamper with the reviews too.

So it would be great to have this feature just like how Udemy does.
