As a creator of both of these things, with sheet music being my main focus, I don’t think these two categories should be together. Sound design primilary refers to making sample packs, virtual instruments/effects, loops, synth presets, etc. Sheet music is a piece of paper or book, whether printed or digital, that has notation or tablature on it to tell the musician when to play certain notes. Sheet music generally gets buried under the abundant sound design content.
Can we please address this? Sheet music deserves to have it’s own category, or at least be nested in one that makes sense. Thank you.
Any update here?
