Allow to share revenue between accounts#583
If multiple creators collaborate on a product, making sure that everyone gets their split of the revenue can quickly become a complicated task with lots of potential for error. Therefore, I’d suggest adding a “Commission” option to Team members (in the Product’s “Team” tab, as described in #582), so that the revenue is split automatically.
A few points to consider for this feature request:
- Only the account owner should be able to modify the commission rate and add/remove team members
- The commissions should be calculated after Gumroad fees and affiliate commissions are calculated.
- Example:
A customer pays $100. Affiliate commission: 20%; Gumroad fees: 9%;
After these two are processed, there are $72.80 left.
Using the values from the attached mock-up, the remaining money will be split up as follows:- John Owner gets $61,88;
- Mia Manager gets $7.28;
- Carl Outside gets $3.64.

I don’t know why this isn’t on Gumroad’s radar - there are MULTIPLE requests similar to this, and it seriously shouldn’t be that hard.

Why did you limit this feature to products that don’t have associated affiliates with it? Why can’t I add multiple collaborators to one product? I’d like to understand the reasoning behind this.
It’s a technical constraint with our payments provider for now.
will there be the option to have affiliate? any payment loophole? this killed the ability to creator split and use affiliates.
